Evil Dead Sequels in the Works Mar 11th 2013, 11:37 There could be two Evil Dead sequels in the works. First up, a sequel to the brand-new Evil Dead is already gestating. Speaking to Bloody Disgusting at SXSW, the film's writer Rodo Sayagues revealed that he was already working on the sequel. "Fede and I are writing that now," said Sayagues. "We are in a very preliminary phase of that project, but yes we're working on it. And it's not gonna be a remake of the second Evil Dead.
