Arrow: Roy Harper Now a Regular Character Mar 13th 2013, 22:02 The chances of Oliver Queen getting a sidekick on Arrow have increased, as Colton Haynes is getting a promotion to series regular. Hanyes was recently introduced as Roy Harper, who in the comic books was Green Arrow's sidekick, Speedy, before taking on the identities of Arsenal and Red Arrow. Haynes will continue to appear in a recurring basis as Season 1 winds down and return as a regular in Season 2. He is the second actor to get such a promotion for the second season, following Emily Bett Rickards, who will be back in a larger capacity as Felicity Smoak.
