Mike Bithell, the one-man team behind PS Vita, PC and PS3 indie hit Thomas Was Alone, has announced his new game: a top-down stealth title called Volume.
It's about "a clever man, in a little room", Bithell says, a stealth game with absolutely no killing where evading detection by controlling sound is the only way to stay safe from robot-like adversaries. It also has a fully-featured level editor that will let you create and share levels with anyone.
If you didn't play Thomas Was Alone, you should give it a go. It's a clever and characterful puzzle-platformer with great writing and voice acting. Hopefully we can expect more of that from Volume - we'll hear more about its story and cast further down the line.
