Marvel's most cosmic movie to date, Guardians of the Galaxy, is set to open in theaters next year, and the studio has, wisely, already begun the process of "educating" the audience at large. What does that mean? It means that, though the Marvel cinematic universe has taken some risks, this motley crew, which feature's both a talking raccoon and tree (with voice castings on Rocket Raccoon and Groot imminent), feels like their most ambitious left field endeavor.
Following the Comic-Con exclusive footage debut, Gunn and Guardians stars Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), Benicio Del Toro (The Collector), Michael Rooker (Yondu), Djimon Hounsou (Korath the Pursuer), Lee Pace (Ronan the Accusor) and Karen Gillan (Nebula) answered a bevy of questions from press.
