Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has admitted that the lack of games available for the Wii U is the key factor behind poor sales.
In an interview with CVG, Iwata dismissed the notion that price was what had stalled sales of the console, instead saying it was down to notable Nintendo titles being absent.
"If the price is actually an issue
, then there is some contradiction between the current sales balance between the Basic and Premium versions of the Wii U," he said.
