With so many comics devoted to the Avengers and Justice Leagues of the superhero universe, it's always refreshing to see a book devoted to villains instead. It allows for different types of stories to be told. And when handled properly, villain-centric books can prove to be more engaging and even better-written than their traditional counterparts. DC published Secret Six for three years, and during that time it was consistently one of the publisher's very best titles. Unfortunately, the bad guys have been getting the short shrift at Marvel lately between the cancellation of Dark Avengers and the revamped direction of Thunderbolts. When will Marvel deliver its own Secret Six? That time may finally be at hand.
