Do you feel that? That's hope. Hope that this season can finally turn itself around and live up to the potential established by last season's finale. "The Pickett Line" stands apart from the rest of the season as an inspired and fun hour of television that finally pushes the plot forward to far more interesting ground than has been covered so far. It's not Shakespeare, but it almost feels like Shakespeare after the string of disappointing episodes that have come before. Even last week's "Be Silent and Come Out", which I liked, seems forgettable in retrospect. This is the type of drama that Falling Skies should aspire to.
