In a recent Reuters feature, Apple and Samsung, Frenemies for Life, inside sources reveal that Tim Cook, Steve Jobs' replacement as Apple's CEO, was opposed to filing a lawsuit against Samsung after the latter unveiled designs for smartphones that bore striking similarities to Apple's iPhone. Those familiar with Cook's stance on protracted legal battles are not likely to be shocked as Cook has been quoted as saying, "I've always hated litigation. We just want people to invent their own stuff."
