The Hobbit Holds Off Les Mis, Django Dec 30th 2012, 16:49 New releases Django Unchained and Les Miserables performed very well this post-Christmas weekend, but The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey remained the top movie in North America for the third weekend in a row. Les Miserables bowed Christmas Day with $18.1 million, while Django Unchained opened on the holiday with $15 million. Parental Guidance debuted with $6.4 million on Christmas.
