Unlike most expansion packs for the series, Seasons doesn't feature a singular, grand change to The Sims 3. Instead, it adds a series of small features that inject some much-needed variety to your virtual families' day-to-day lives. Regardless of any expansions you may already own, Seasons will significantly alter your Sims experience in positive ways.

Similar to the identically named expansion for The Sims 2, Seasons adds weather and activities specific to your seasons. You'll see summer storms that leave puddles behind to splash in, or winter blizzards that are perfect for making snow angels. Sim kids will trick-or-treat in fall, and your bachelors and bachelorettes will find it easier to fall in love in the spring. Each season brings small effects to enhance all your Sims' lives, adding to the unwritten narrative for each day that passes.
