Walking Dead's Producer Joins Gaiking Film Dec 19th 2012, 20:06 Following in the footsteps of Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim, Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla Entertainment (The Walking Dead) and Toei Animation are teaming with All Nippon Entertainment Works to develop their own mecha film Gaiking, based on the '70s anime series of the same name (which American audiences might recognize as Shogun Warriors or Force Five). "I'm extremely excited to be working on Gaiking," said Hurd, "which marks a huge step forward in adapting one of the best Japanese IP for a global audience."
