The Legend of Korra: "Peacekeepers" Review

With the Water Tribes at civil war, it was time for Team Avatar to buckle down and begin the bitter work that lay ahead in Republic City. "Peacekeepers" started out with a literal bang, as a mysterious group of extremists bombed the Southern Water Tribe Cultural Center. In an interesting moment, it was Mako, not Korra, who got the upper hand on the bombing investigation, and for the first time since Book Two began, I actually felt like Mako had something to contribute. In fact, as far as the individual storylines were concerned, Mako's detective work was perhaps the strongest through line in "Peacekeepers." Not only did it give Mako something to do, but it also tied in nicely with his and Korra's increasing dispute.
