Ryan Reynolds to Produce Comedy for FX
Aug 20th 2013, 05:13, by Roth Cornet

Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern, R.I.P.D.) is set to executive produce a new comedy series for FX, Deadline reports. Rob Lieber, co-writer of Disney's Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, sold the project, titled The Great Zucchini, to the network.

The half-hour comedy follows a kids party performer who is attempting to lead a more adult life, though he seems to be entirely incapable of it. The tone of the show is likened to Eastbound and Down and Louie.

Fox 21 will produce with Reynolds exec producing with DarkFire partners Allen Loeb, Steven Pearl and Jonathon Komack-Martin, and Alex Goldstone of Anonymous Content.
