Nova #7 is better in concept than it is in execution. This isn't to say it's bad, it's actually pretty dang good, but the idea of Sam flying around trying to be a superhero could have been better. The majority of this issue is played for laughs and it's really funny at times. At others, it's a little wordy and overdone. That said, Sam's interactions with Spider-Man are great and worth the cover price alone. It looks damn fine, too.
