Full superhero sidekick spoilers follow.
As Young Justice steamrolls to its conclusion, another exciting episode hit this weekend with "Intervention." This outing served to wrap up more of the dangling plot threads that we all feared might just be left hanging at the end of the series, but it did so in a fairly frustrating way.
Things kicked off with the fight everyone was complaining they missed from last week -- Black Beetle versus Mongul. Which, as it turns out, wasn't much of a fight at all once Green Beetle showed up to help his brother shut the former master of Warworld down. It was kind of an anticlimactic sequence, but at least the question of what happened to Mongul was addressed. It also helped remind us what badasses the Beetles are in advance of the team defeating two of them.
