There was a time when considered myself a proficient PC gamer. That time has passed. I still play with a level of regularity, but the experience of re-acclimating to the mouse and keyboard after days or weeks is always jarring. So when it came time to check out the Stinky Footboard — an accessory that would call not only require a mouse and keyboard, but my feet as well — I was prepared for disastrous results. Much to my surprise, I found the opposite.
The Stinky Footboard is like a d-pad for your feet — it's a flat, aluminum-encased four way controller that can be mapped to just about any in-game function. The benefit is the ability to quickly execute commands without having to move your fingers from the WASD position or the buttons on your mouse. With the Footboard's custom software, users can associate any button to the four directional switches, including control, alt, or shift modifiers for a total of 16 possible commands.
