Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Season 5 was a notable year for the series. While there were some ups and downs, there were also big, memorable events that occurred, including multiple notable deaths and a huge shift in the finale that did indeed "change thing forever."
As the season was split into five distinct story arcs (yes, including the premiere, which I'll get to below), it makes it fairly easy to examine the year on a story by story basis. The Onderon plotline began what was the first of several storylines focused on Ahsoka Tano. Considering how this season would play out in the end, the decision to go so Ahsoka-heavy makes a lot of sense, as we saw Ahsoka come into her own more and show how much she'd matured and grown from the girl we first met.
