Even though last year's Sonic Jump was totally fun, mobile gamers were upset that the game focused solely on jumping instead of, you know... running - the one thing Sonic is ostensibly supposed to do in any video game he stars in. Sega is finally rectifying this egregious error tonight with the release of Sonic Dash on the App Store.
The game, created by Sega's UK studio Hardlight, is probably best described as a Sonic-ified version of Temple Run. The camera is oriented behind the Blue Blur. Players can swipe left or right to switch between three lanes, swipe down to dash through enemies or under obstacles and swipe up to jump.
