Is it possible to spend your life fighting monsters without eventually becoming one yourself? After enduring a harrowing torture session, Nikita admitted she had a soft spot for the demon inside her in last season's intense episode "Wrath." Now in a position of power, Nikita took her dark side of a spin and found that being a bad guy still felt pretty good. By the end of the riveting "With Fire" she'd re-calibrated her moral compass...but how long will that last?
Ever since the Scooby Gang took over Division, they've been acutely aware of the threat of corruption. Ryan and Nikita even had a laugh about it last week despite the fact they've already taken on the types of missions they swore in the beginning they never would. Ryan also had promised that he'd be transparent yet Michael and Nikita didn't blink and eye when he tells them, oh yeah, we're not funded by the government anymore. Every episode seems to point to a different team member being more likely to cross the line but maybe that's all meant to distract us from the idea that they all crossed the line the minute they agreed to keep Division afloat.
