New Doctor Who Posters Show Cinematic Influences

Ahead of the return of Doctor Who on March 30th for the second half of Series 7, the BBC has released some snazzy cinematic posters for the first four episodes - The Bells Of Saint John, The Rings Of Ahkaten, Cold War, and Hide.

Showrunner Steven Moffat's mantra for Doctor Who this year (like last year) is "a movie a week" and posters are clearly influenced by some classic movie art. Here's what we know about the first four episodes so far...

From the BBC: "Set in London against the backdrop of new and old iconic landmarks, The Shard and Westminster Bridge, 'The Bells of St John' will also establish a new nemesis, the Spoonheads, who will battle the Doctor as he discovers something sinister is lurking in the Wi-Fi."
