The cover might mislead you into thinking that this issue only focuses on Carol Ferris being emotion-tortured by the First Lantern, but writer Tony Bedard has played it smart and included several of the New Guardians. This way, what has become a repetitive experience now feels a tad bit fresher because it keeps you on your toes. The result is a lopsided comic with some interesting parts that almost succeed in distracting you from the fact that this Green Lantern crossover event still lacks a clear direction.
