Activision and Xbox have partnered up to give players the opportunity to participate in one of the largest eSports tournaments to date: a 32 team Call of Duty: Black Ops II battle with a $1 million prize.
Starting today, teams of four that have registered on Call of Duty Elite's official site can battle it out in the February season of League Play in Call of Duty: Black Ops II on Xbox Live. The top eight teams at the end of the season will move on to the $1 million tournament taking place April 5-7 in Hollywood, CA.
The top eight Call of Duty: Black Ops II teams from the MLG Winter Championship of the MLG 2013 Pro Circuit and the ESL's European Finals will also be advancing to the tournament in Hollywood. They'll battle against the top eight teams from the League Play season and eight other teams from around the world for the 32 team tournament.
