Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
Supernatural wasted no time following up on last week's introduction of the Men of Letters as Sam and Dean found their way inside the home base of the secret society. I like the new direction this storyline is taking the show in so far, it is opening up the mythology in unexpected areas. They had mostly been focusing the season-long storylines on deeper levels of hell and more mysterious areas of heaven; it was a welcome discovery that there were more people fighting against evil than the hunters we knew about.
The discovery of the Men of Letters headquarters was a great scene, especially the look on Sam's face as he saw the library for the first time. It was perfectly in character for Sam to be giddy at the thought of having all that information at his fingertips; he is the scholar of the family after all. It was also a nice break for the boys to have a home for a change. They have never really had a place to call their own, but at least when Bobby was around they could go to his place to regroup. Even though Dean was reluctant to settle in at first, he looked like he was getting comfortable by the end of the episode. Sam meanwhile was already updating the files with the information he had gathered during the episode, which was a nice touch.
