Once Upon a Time: Mad Hatter Spinoff Considered Feb 23rd 2013, 02:41 ABC is now considering the idea of creating a spinoff of its fairytale series Once Upon a Time, with a focus on the show's Mad Hatter character. In a strange move for a spinoff of a popular character, Deadline reports that the network plans to recast Sebastian Stan as the Mad Hatter due to scheduling conflicts. As IGN's own Eric Goldman points out, the actor has a multi-picture deal with Marvel playing Bucky Barnes, which he will continue with Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
