The Office: Series Finale Date Announced Feb 7th 2013, 18:29 The date for Dunder Mifflin's farewell has been revealed, as NBC has announced that The Office will air its final episode on Thursday, May 16th. The series will say goodbye with a one-hour finale, which will also mark a milestone, as the show reaches its 200th episode. The Office Producer Discusses the Final Episodes It's been revealed that Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak are expected to return for the finale as Kelly and Ryan, with the final season already having included returning guest spots for many notable characters, with more to come. Just don't expect to see Michael Scott again, as Steve Carell has he doesn't intend to return as the character, feeling he already had a proper exit.
