Whether he was there at his mother's behest or to help out his girlfriend, Sean Pierce has always been a reluctant presence at Division. Even now that he's reconciled with Alex, he's been eager to rejoin his Navy SEAL team and still a little perplexed by Alex's refusal to leave Division and Nikita behind and start a new life with him. In the surprising and action-packed "Black Badge," Amanda's revenge plot against Nikita ends up forcing his hand, and costing Sean his reputation, career and his freedom from Division's walls.
CIA Director Kendrick, introduced in last season's "Dead Drop", made a welcome -- but shockingly brief --return. RIP, Morgan Kendrick. The more important return though was that of the always magnificent Melinda Clarke. That first shot of only Amanda's ringed hand made her appear like a Bond villain, and she later lived up to that image by boasting about her entire ingenious plot to Nikita and Alex. I really believe on some (sick, obviously) level, Amanda thinks of them as her BFF's. She'll gladly kill all the men in their lives, but being reconciled to them would be a dream come true.
