The awkwardness continued for Nick and Jess this week as even more tension from that fateful kiss bubbled to the surface. As evidenced by their unwieldy exchange in the bathroom, things were clearly still not back to normal. Thankfully, Schmidt had just the thing to distract them -- at least for awhile -- upon discovering an unreserved parking spot in the complex garage. The only question was, who got the spot?
As we all know, each roomie had their respective cards to play: Jess had the "lady" card, Winston had the "race" card, Nick had the "lazy, drunk" card (whatever that is) and Schmidt had the ever logical "deserves the spot" card -- after all, he does pay for the Wiffy (or is that "Wi-Fi"?) In the end, the decision came down to Nick, who would have to pick between Jess or Schmidt -- although, I'm still unclear on how that happened exactly. Regardless, this situation predictably put Nick in an uncomfortable situation, especially considering the aforementioned tension between him and Jess.
