Green Lantern got one step closer to introducing all the various colored Corps this week as the Orange Lanterns made their debut. Or Orange Lantern, more accurately, as our heroes discovered only one creature wields the Orange Lantern. And he does not share power.
I mentioned this back when Sinestro made his belated debut in "Prisoner of Sinestro," but it really is odd to see practically every Corps debut before the Sinestro Corps. Obviously the production crew had their hands tied since WB instituted their "No Sinestro!" decree back at the beginning, but the fact that we're seeing characters like Saint Walker and Larfleeze running around the galaxy before Sinestro even develops the notion of ditching his green ring for a yellow one just seems wrong. I would be curious to see how the show handles the eventual rise of the Sinestro Corps. But sadly, that won't be happening now regardless.
