So the Rise of the Third Army crossover event all turned out to be one big misdirection, as Geoff Johns never intended the Third Army to be anything more than a misplayed hand of the Guardians. They're literally turned to ash in all of two panels here. The new big thing to worry about is the Wrath of the First Lantern, who at first was a battery for the Guardians but is now a reality-threatening rainbow circulatory system with a grudge. This whole issue is weighed down by the First Lantern's monologuing, but it is nice to finally have a concrete of idea of where Johns' epic saga is headed for its conclusion.
