The saga of Google and Apple, frenemies forever, continues with a report by Morgan Stanley that hints at a potential $1 billion dollar deal that might see Google pay out a hefty sum to remain iOS's default search engine. According to analyst Scott Devitt, the escalating price for the privilege - Google paid only $82 million in 2009 - can be attributed to a per-device deal which is growing exponentially each year with increasing iOS sales.
