Hopes were high for Marvel's Fearless Defenders, one of the few titles on the mainstream market that's driven by an all-female cast, and writer Cullen Bunn doesn't disappoint. Fearless Defenders #1 has all the elements of the very best buddy cop stories: two individuals – Misty Knight and Valkyrie – who are quite literally from different worlds are thrown together by circumstance to discover that their differences are what them work as a team.
