Defiance: Exclusive New Images Feb 13th 2013, 20:18 As we get closer to the April 15th debut of Defiance, IGN has the exclusive debut of new character photos from the Syfy series. Defiance takes place in a future where the arrival of seven alien races has changed society forever. In the wake of a great war, an uneasy peace has been found and Defiance centers on life in a town where humans and aliens coexist. Defiance is part of an ambitious plan to launch a TV series and game simultaneously, with the game taking place in the same continuity. The game is set in San Francisco and the TV series in what was once St. Louis, MO, though at least a couple of the TV show characters will be seen in the game.
