The Best-Selling Comics of January 2013 Feb 8th 2013, 21:11 The new year kicked off with a decline in comic book sales compared to December 2012 (though had a huge increase in graphic novel sales -- yay, holiday money!) but an uptick in comics/graphic novel sales compared to January 2012 -- an icnrease of over 20%, in fact. Marvel edged out DC Comics, achieving a 34.82% in dollar share and a whopping 40.23% in unit share, as compared to DC's 31.61% and 35.41% respectively.
