In many ways, Star Wars was revived with last fall's Disney purchase of Lucasfilm and the recent announcement that J.J. Abrams will be directing the first in a new series of films. But over the years toymaker Hasbro has always kept the flame burning for George Lucas' galaxy far, far away with an untold number of action figures, vehicle replicas, play sets and more.
At Toy Fair this past weekend, Hasbro revealed its new Black series of 6-inch and 3.75-inch action figures, which are designed to take their Star Wars collectibles to a new level with a higher amount of detail and articulation that is geared more towards the adult collector (because none of us grown-ups were buying Star Wars toys before!). In addition to the Black line, Hasbro also has plenty of new items in their traditional lines as well -- plus, more Angry Birds Star Wars of course! Check out all the images below…
